Los Mochis City is looking for a Senior Sommelier to join our new Omakase opening soon in Los Mochis City. Our sister Omakase – Juno, located in Los Mochis Notting Hill, is an award winning intimate 6-seater experience where you can indulge in a creative 15 course experience crafted by our Executive Chef. Our new opening will have 12 seats and will have two seating’s per day with fantastic views of the London skyline.
We are looking for someone to come and join us and elevate the wine and sake offering for the Omakase and the main restaurant!
Located on the 9th floor of 100 Liverpool Street, the restaurant boasts a 3,000 sq ft outdoor terrace with views of the City. Los Mochis City is our second location in London following the opening of the highly acclaimed Los Mochis Notting Hill.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns related to the wine program promptly and professionally.
- Assist guests in selecting wines & sake that best complement their preferences and enhance their dining experience.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive wine list that complements our menu offerings and caters to the diverse preferences of our guests.
- Collaborate with the Head Sommelier and management to create wine-pairing suggestions for seasonal menus and special events.
- Conduct regular tastings and staff training sessions to ensure consistent quality and service standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new wine releases, and emerging wine regions to continuously enhance the wine program.
- Build and maintain relationships with wine distributors, winemakers, and industry professionals to source unique and exclusive wines for our guests.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of wines, maintaining optimal conditions to preserve their quality and flavour profiles.

Requirements/skills:
- Proven experience as a Sommelier or similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel.
- Strong understanding of food and wine pairing principles, with the ability to create harmonious combinations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and educate staff members and interact with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s operating hours.
- A passion for wine and a genuine desire to share that passion with guests and the team
