We are now looking for a refined, connected, and knowledgeable Business Development Manager to drive our presence in London’s luxury hospitality sector — including Michelin-starred restaurants, fine dining establishments, and 5-star hotels.
The Role
This is a high-profile and autonomous role, ideal for a polished and commercially astute professional with deep knowledge of the London fine dining scene. You will be responsible for developing long-term partnerships, championing our luxury brands, and enhancing our presence in some of the most prestigious accounts in the city.
Key Responsibilities
- Luxury Prospecting: Identify and win new business opportunities within Michelin-star restaurants, fine dining venues, and high-end hotels through your extensive network and market knowledge.
- Key Account Management: Build trusted relationships with sommeliers, F&B Directors, and GMs, offering tailored support, menu insight, and staff training.
- Premium Portfolio Advocacy: Confidently represent our wines and spirits in luxury settings, delivering category expertise and exceptional service.
- Sales Strategy: Create and execute account-level plans to meet and exceed sales targets in the premium on-trade channel.
- Industry Insight: Stay attuned to trends in fine dining and luxury hospitality, acting as our eyes and ears in this elite market segment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and brand teams to deliver bespoke activations, listings, and events.
- Reporting: Provide clear, consistent reporting on performance, pipeline, and opportunities to drive commercial success.
About You
- Specialist Experience: A successful track record working with premium wines and spirits in luxury on-trade accounts.
- Networked: Strong relationships within the London fine dining and 5-star hotel community — from Michelin-starred chefs to sommelier teams.
- Commercially Driven: Strategic and results-focused, with the ability to translate premium listings into long-term value.
- Wine Knowledge: WSET Level 3 or higher preferred, with deep product knowledge and confidence in the language of fine wine and spirits.
- Presentation Skills: Professional and polished, with the ability to present to and influence high-level hospitality professionals.
- Location: Based in or near London, with regular travel to top accounts across the city.
