Sommelier
5 Hertford Street is the beautifully appointed private member’s club owned and operated by entrepreneur Robin Birley; located in the heart of Mayfair. Our aim is to be a home away from home, in the utmost comfort, where members are looked after by a team who know them by name.
We are currently looking for a Sommelier to join our Ground Floor Restaurant team.

The responsibilities of the Sommelier are:
- Welcoming members and their guests to the restaurant
- Leading your section with precision and charm
- Developing service standards
- Creating an exceptional experience for members and their guests
The Experience & Qualifications required as Sommelier are:
- Significant experience in a similar role in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel or private member’s club advantageous
The working hours:
- The working hours for this role are on a rota basis with shifts falling between Monday – Saturday.
The club is closed on Sundays, Bank Holidays and throughout Christmas each year.
