The home of Alvarinho, Monção & Melgaço, one of the 9 sub-regions of the Vinhos Verdes Demarcated region, in northern Portugal, has partnered with Sommelier Edit to create a comprehensive sommelier masterclass, exclusively for the UK.

Led by Master Sommelier, Stefan Neumann, this in-depth training session will explore the regions premier wine makers, present a selection of aged whites, along-side younger styles, to provide students with deep knowledge of this gastronomic white wine that’s developed a reputation for premium quality and age-worthy wines.

Designed for CMS and WSET students – including Systematic Approach to Tasting and Deductive Tasting tecniques.

Candidates who attend will be eligible to take a brief test at the end of the tasting to attain their Monção & Melgaço: Alvarinho Built to Age Certificate of Participation.
