We are currently looking to recruit a Junior Sommelier for our fine dining restaurant Cord in Fleet Street. At Cord we are passionate about using the fines and freshest seasonal produce, sourced from around the British Isles.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the selection, recommendation, and serving of wines to guests
- Maintain knowledge of the wine list and pairings with menu items
- Support the Head Sommelier with wine inventory management
- Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience through wine service
- Ensure proper storage and handling of wines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sommelier or wine-related role is preferred
- Strong passion for wine and food pairing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure Availability for immediate start Benefits
- WSET Level 2 or above preferred
