Founded in 1998 by Terry and Mary Peabody, their vision was to create a world-class winery defined by its unique terroir and landscapes. Driven by a philosophy of quality, innovation, and sustainability, Craggy Range produces iconic wines from its estate vineyards in Hawke’s Bay and Martinborough. These sites were carefully selected for their exceptional soils and distinct microclimates, producing wines of remarkable character and complexity. In 2022, Craggy Range became the first New Zealand winery to be represented on the prestigious La Place de Bordeaux, fulfilling the founders’ ambition to stand among the world’s finest wine estates.
