DESCRIPTION:Calling all FoH superstars!\nDo you run drinks\, pair wine\, mix cocktails\, or lead beverage service? Are you a bartender\, a wine lover\, a service legend? — this is for you! \nCome and meet New Zealand’s first and only Master Sommelier\, Cam Douglas\, for a cosy chat about all things wine\, industry\, and “somm”. You’re invited to BambuchiSan in Hataitai on Tuesday May 27th for “Cam Talk” – an intimate talk with Cam about his experiences as a Sommelier in NZ. \nWe’ll be running two different sessions at 11am and 2pm\, for approx 2 hours each\, including a presentation and talk from Cam\, a Q&A session\, plus drinks and nibbles. It will also be a chance for the Wellington industry to celebrate the first annual ranking of the top 100 Sommeliers being launched in New Zealand & Australia. \nAs well as regaling you with tales of his sommelier life\, Cam will answer any questions about the new initiative\, and you’ll be able to find out how to nominate your peers before the deadline on June 30th. \nThanks to our fab sponsors\, we have libations Swift Wines\, Albarino Bros\, Chateau Garage\, Unlikely Companions\, and State of Play\, plus filter coffee from the legends at Coffee Supreme. \nAfter the chat and Q&A there’ll be snacks from Tex*As Salsa\, @wellynznommsforsomms\, Coolsville Cafe and BambuchiSan.
