The Atlantic Hotel in Jersey is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Sommelier to join its award-winning team.
You’ll support the Head Sommelier with wine service, stock management (450+ bin), and guest recommendations, while also assisting the restaurant team during quieter times. A passion for wine, strong organisation, and great communication skills are a must. Weekend shifts are required. An exceptional development opportunity in a prestigious setting!
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant experience in a 4-5-Star or fine dining property is desirable
- Passionate about food and wine parings, gastronomy orientated
- Excellent customer service skills
- WSET, CMS, or similar qualifications or certificates
- Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written, 2nd language as French/Italian/Spanish will be appreciated
- Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external.
