SUMMARY:Masterclass: Alvarinho de Monção e Melgaço
DESCRIPTION:SOMMELIER MASTERCLASS ON THE VINHO VERDES REGION\nAlvarinho is now planted all around the world\, but its story began in the far north-west of Portugal\, Monção e Melgaço. Shaping the grape’s identity by producing wines defined by granite soils\, drastically fluctuating day and night temperatures and a distinctive climate that delivers freshness\, precision and remarkable ageing potential. \nHosted by leading wine educator Stefan Neumann MS\, this masterclass offers sommeliers the opportunity to explore why this historic sub-region remains the benchmark for Alvarinho. Through a guided tasting\, discover how terroir\, tradition and modern winemaking combine to produce the region’s wines\, from still wines to sparkling expressions. \nAs Portuguese wine continues to grow\, this is the perfect opportunity for Sommeliers to attain expert knowledge in one of Europe’s most compelling white wine regions. \nThis session is designed exclusively for sommeliers and those studying for CMS and WSET qualifications.\nWith limited places available\, apply early to secure yours.\n           \n\n\n \n \n Event Registration Form\n \n \n This field is hidden when viewing the formEvent NameThis field is hidden when viewing the formStatusPendingApprovedRejectedWaiting ListAttendedNo showYour DetailsName(Required)\n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n \n Job title(Required)Restaurant(Required)Your mobile phone number(Required)Email(Required)\n \n Declaration I understand that by applying for a place at this event I am committed to attend.Failure to attend once offered a place is as unpopular as 'no-show' at the restaurant.
