DESCRIPTION:Sommelier Edit Members are invited by the Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico (1924) to join the prodcuers in London to celebrate its 100 years anniversary. \nThis iconic region is an important cornerstone of wine lists around the UK and the celebration event will welcome over thirty producers to the capital with a selection of wines including Gran Selezione\, Riserva\, Annata\, Vino Spumante Brut Metodo classico\, Vino Santo and rare older vintages. \nThe producers attending look forward to welcoming you and enjoying together a very special occasion to mark 100 years of the Consorzio Vino Chianti Classico. \n5.00 – 7.30PM WALK-AROUND TASTING\nWinemakers from 35 estates will be present to show their wines\, including some rare older vintages. \n7.30 – 10.00PM CENTENARY PARTY\nA party to celebrate one hundred years of the Consorzio in style.\nChef Theo Randall has created a special Tuscan buffet menu and will be doing a cooking demonstration during the evening. \nExclusive member offer\nMembers travelling from outside London/M25 can apply for a travel bursary that will cover up to £100 of their costs to attend the event. Simply submit your application below and one of the team will contact you. \nTerms and conditions\nTravel bursaries are limited and will be offered to the first fifteen members that apply and who are based outside London.
