It\u2019s another world; a world of oriental luxury and the most attentive service. A world that\u2019s all about our guests.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>As a <\/strong><strong>Sommelier <\/strong><strong>at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, you will be responsible for:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To display excellent wine knowledge and be able to recommend and match appropriate wines with the chosen food<\/li>\n<li>Organisation and maintenance of the wine list and the cellar<\/li>\n<li>Training and supporting Commis Sommelier<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring all beverages are correctly posted through Infrasys<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a <strong>Sommelier<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong> you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and late night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.<\/p>\n<p>To be a successful <strong>Sommelier <\/strong><strong>candidate<\/strong>, you will have wine and food knowledge, with a strong understanding of fine dining restaurant service steps and previous experience as a Commis Sommelier or Sommelier.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>In return, you will receive an array of iconic benefits, such as:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent career progression with an iconic, luxury, global hotel brand.
